My passion for lived experience and formal studies over many years has led him to develop a broad transformative approach to life and work. I am focused on your needs and non-prescriptive with feedback. I tell my clients, “I’m your tour guide; you decide the journey; I’ll point out the scenery.”
Self-awareness and conscious decision-making are key. I will support you to build tools for your long-term emotional health, well-being and your resilience.
To solve an issue, we must first understand its depth and breadth. A lot of my clients want to jump in and solve the presenting problem or seize an opportunity. I will undoubtedly explore your current thinking about it with you, but as a tour guide, I don't offer advice; instead, I observe and tell you what I see. I will offer options; you decide what you’ll use. I'll ask you, “What if…?”. Ie believe that the answers lie inside you.
As your awareness widens, your thinking about it will change. You have more choices, freeing you to move forward in healthier and more expansive ways. My phrase for this is ‘moving from unaware consciousness to conscious awareness’. You take charge of your life rather than trying to control it or fear losing control of it. As paraphrased, Albert Einstein suggested, "The thinking that got us here isn't the thinking that will get us out of here."

With its ever-fast-paced gallop, today's world brings unpredictable disturbances, challenges as well as opportunities. World events and personal circumstances add to the stress, probably in ways not experienced for generations.
I hold that life is more than coping; it is about healing and growing through all that is presented to us. I know that, at times, growth can seem out of reach when a crisis hits. I have certainly experienced that in my own life. But I have also learned that with a willingness to confront what is presented, healing and growth are not only possible; they just happen, and possibility presents itself.
